Requirements
- Design and create electrical/electronic hardware and firmware of commercial products based on product specifications
- Develop circuits for circuit protection, GFCI, ELCI, lighting, transfer switches and other products
- Develop firmware for products such as AC power monitors
- Balance design based on cost, requirements, and time to market
- Create manufacturing in-process test requirements and test sets as required
- Prepare and maintain documentation and use configuration management system for keeping records of schematics, test results, changes, etc
- Perform and participate in DFMEA
- Follow engineering processes
- Support product through lifecycle and supply chain issues
- Perform design reviews and product cost out analysis
