Job Description
Join the #1 Orthopedic Team in Northeast Florida and assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and directives. Guide and encourage patients through manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises, daily-living activities, and the use of supportive devices.
Requirements
- Completion of all requirements and a current Florida PTA certification
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical activities involving bending, stretching, and manual dexterity
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and JCAHO regulations
- Strong interpersonal and patient interaction skills; ability to instruct, motivate, and encourage patients
- Commitment to safety, professionalism, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment
