A prominent law firm in New York is seeking a highly experienced Accountant to support the firm's Controller across key finance operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting.
Requirements
- 10+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
- Solid background in billing, A/P, A/R, and general ledger accounting
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Elite, Aderant, or similar platforms a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is highly preferred (not required)
