Requirements
- Support bi-monthly payroll processing for four business units
- Audit timesheets, payroll data, earnings, deductions, and reimbursements
- Calculate sales commissions and management tier bonuses accurately and on time
- Lead tax registrations as the company expands into new states and jurisdictions
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies with clarity and professionalism
- Reconcile payroll balance sheet accounts and resolve variances
- Oversee 401(k), FSA, payroll advances, and benefit reimbursement accounts
- Prepare, post, and reconcile payroll-related general ledger entries
- Support audits with schedules, reconciliations, and documentation
- Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee data
- Stay current on payroll system updates and recommend improvements
- Collaborate cross-functionally to elevate payroll accuracy and efficiency
