Director, Private Sales, Contemporary

The Director, Private Sales, Contemporary will source and sell works for Sotheby's Contemporary Art department in France, working closely with colleagues globally to develop and win business for these sales and deliver on regional sales targets and goals.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a specialist sourcing and selling contemporary art
• Positive track record in building and servicing high level client relationships
• Proven business acumen and developed valuation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including spoken and written English
• High levels of integrity and ability to operate within corporate governance and legal framework
