Job Description
The Compliance Officer operates as an autonomous entity overseeing compliance and governance activities, ensuring regulatory adherence and alignment with corporate culture.
Requirements
- Develop, update, and implement the Company's systems, Code of conduct, policies, procedures, and controls.
- Provide guidance to management and employees in compliance topics and collaborate with other departments.
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and develop corrective action plans.
- Meet all obligations stated in the law and bylaws in terms of Compliance and AML.
- Ensure proper reporting of violations or potential violations to the regulators.
- Conduct Screening and KYC on all prospective clients, Service Providers, and employees.
- Open accounts with counterparties and complete the Company's KYC as required.
- Participate in project work where applicable.
