Sony Electronics Inc. is looking for a Compensation Manager to drive and influence the development and execution of compensation processes and initiatives, and act as an advisor to People & Culture and all levels of management.
Requirements
- Drive and influence the development and execution of compensation processes and initiatives
- Partner with business unit leaders, managers, and internal teams to provide tools, programs, trainings, and guidance in all areas of compensation
- Conduct research, modeling, and analysis of our compensation programs for effectiveness in supporting our business goals
- Support assigned business units with all areas of compensation
- Support the salary recommendation process to ensure internal equity and market alignment by applying established job evaluation methodologies
- Interview and survey employees and managers to gather and document job, organizational, and occupational information, including duties, responsibilities, and skills required by each job
- Lead company-wide projects that support consistent application of company guidelines and structure
- Ensure data integrity, perform calculations, audits, and forecasting in support of compensation programs such as annual bonus program, sales incentive programs, and stock administration
- Keep up to date and educate internal team on evolving compensation related to compliance areas for the US and Canada
- Manage a team of compensation professionals, setting team goals and expectations, leading performance management conversations, and keeping abreast of team project status
- Consult with HR Business Partners and business leaders on a regular basis to provide compensation guidance and recommendations
