SQL Server/ BI Developer

Sonoma Consulting is a national IT consulting and executive search company seeking a SQL Server/BI Developer for a 6-12 month contract in Downtown Chicago. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and a strong understanding of database development, system integration, and reporting systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with complete Microsoft SQL Server stack
• 5+ years T-SQL experience, minimum 2+ years MDX
• Familiar with SQL Server data replication topologies
• Familiar with SQL Server performance tuning and physical implementations
• Minimum 2+ years PowerShell, Python or similar scripting language
• Familiarity with web services, XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong interpersonal communications, time management, organization, decision making and customer service skills
