Job Description
Solutus Legal Search is seeking a Chief Intellectual Property Counsel to join a dynamic executive leadership team and serve as the company’s Chief IP advisor. This role focuses on managing a global IP strategy, portfolio evaluation, acquisition, and licensing efforts for technology companies. The position requires significant experience in intellectual property law and business strategy and reporting directly to the President.
Requirements
- 20+ years of intellectual property experience
- 15+ years of legal experience advising technology companies
- Experience with intellectual property litigation (USPTO, PTAB, ADR, mediation)
- Active license to practice before USPTO, PTAB, ADR, and mediation
- Experience with IP licensing and acquisitions worldwide
- Experience with patent evaluation (AI tools)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
