Index Analyst/Associate (m/f/d) Equity Rebalancing

Solactive AG is seeking an Index Analyst/Associate to manage and oversee a diverse portfolio of thematic equity indices. The successful candidate will have a quantitative academic background, professional experience in equity markets, derivatives, or index maintenance, and a curiosity for trends in investing. The role involves working with an international client base, conducting research on thematic investment trends, and developing index algorithms.

Requirements

• Academic degree in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in index or equity markets operations
• Familiarity with thematic investing concepts, investment strategies, portfolio optimization, or a related field
• Innovative, analytical thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple operational cycles and deadlines
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and intercultural competence
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, VBA, MATLAB, or SQL)
