Business Development Associate - M&A

Software International (SI) is seeking a Business Development Associate - M&A to help grow target software technology verticals for potential M&A activities. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior management to identify, qualify, and execute acquisitions aligned with strategic goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in M&A with expertise in transaction execution, including financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and negotiation
• 3+ years of experience in business/corporate development, investment banking at a boutique firm, PE firm or B2B start up
• Bachelors degree or equivalent, in Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field is preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of accounting, tax, and legal considerations for M&A
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts concisely and defend recommendations to executive leadership
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Adaptable and flexible, with an ability to respond to changing work priorities, pressure and demands
• Ability to travel (10-25% of the time)
