Leveraged Finance Lawyer

SMBC Group is seeking a Leveraged Finance Lawyer to support the legal risks of the leveraged finance business within the company. The role involves advising both front office and senior staff on transaction matters, ensuring compliance with regulations and representing the Legal department. A legally qualified professional with a strong understanding of bank and borrower practices is required, alongside experience in working on both sides of the deal.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer of preferably more than 3-9 years post qualification.
• Solid experience in a broad range of general banking and finance and specifically leveraged finance.
• Experience in house banking and loan origination is helpful.
