Director - Enterprise Risk Management (m/f/d)

SMBC Group is seeking a Director for Enterprise Risk Management to join their team in Frankfurt, Germany. This role focuses on ensuring and managing the firm's ongoing compliance with prudential requirements and overseeing risk management across a broad remit. The Director will be responsible for coordinating with other departments, risk governance, and ensuring a consistent framework for all risk-related matters.

Requirements

• Lead development and maintenance of a fit for purpose risk strategy and risk appetite framework.
• Ensure appropriate governance and challenge of key components of risk culture, risk strategy, and risk appetite.
• Coordinate other key Risk deliveries (ICAAP, ILAAP).
• Present risk strategy and risk appetite topics to risk management committees.
• Monitor, analyse and report regulatory and legal developments.
• Lead project teams.
