Architectural Millwork Shop Drawing Designer

Designs and produces accurate and detailed architectural millwork drawings and specifications for construction projects. Develops and maintains knowledge of millwork industry trends, products, and technologies to ensure the accuracy and relevance of drawings and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in architectural millwork design and drafting
• Proficiency in CAD software, including Autodesk Revit and MicroStation
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and architectural styles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed (approximately 10-20% of time)
