Requirements

• Provide technical guidance and recommendations for completed lab analysis
• Maintain lab equipment: microscope, fume hoods, thermal ovens, particle counters, ICs, titrators, fluoride analyzers, balance, spectrophotometer, incubator, hot plate, and pH meter
• Maintain field equipment: Thermal IC, titrator, analytical balance
• Coordinate scheduling of preventative maintenance and calibration for lab and field instrumentation
• Stock reagents for instrumentation
• Grab field samples for analysis
• Use ION chromatography and interpret results
• Bacteria testing for reclaim system and Ultra-Pure Water
• Active participant in supporting department meetings, capital planning, and expense budgeting
• SPC monitoring
• Data analysis
• Work within defined technical processes and procedures
• Initiate and drive continuous improvements
• Uphold area upkeep and 5S principles
• Collaborate cross departmentally, escalate as required
• Maintenance and creation of standard operating procedures
• Record keeping, reporting, as required
