Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative building maintenance for assigned apartment buildings while providing excellent customer service to tenants. Key responsibilities include performing maintenance, cleaning/repairing facilities, and ensuring building safety and functionality. This is a full-time, rotating schedule position.
Requirements
- Perform preventative building maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting).
- Complete and submit accurate maintenance log and time sheet.
- Clean and repair vacant units, including repairs like leaks and lock changes.
- Regularly clean common areas, including stairwells and elevators.
- Perform physical demanding tasks with ladders and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, e-mail/web).
- Ability to lift 50lbs, bend, push and pull
