Skyhawks Sports After School Program Coach/Counselor

Skyhawks Sports Academy is seeking a part-time Coach/Counselor to lead athletic and academic activities for our afterschool programs. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with children and has strong communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements

• Supervise and transition scholars between academic and athletic sessions.
• Provide basic homework help and academic support.
• Lead structured daily activities focused on teaching life skills through sports.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all participants.
• Collaborate with fellow coaches to manage the daily program schedule.
• Communicate with parents and apply basic de-escalation techniques.
• Maintain daily inventory of sports equipment.
• Complete brief daily reports summarizing activities and incidents.
