Job Description
SiteGround is seeking a Platform Software Developer to join their innovative tech team and shape their cutting-edge hosting platform. This role involves building and enhancing in-house services, contributing to open-source projects, and collaborating with multiple teams. The ideal candidate is a polyglot programmer fluent in Go, C, Python, and Perl, with a passion for scalability and collaboration.
Requirements
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages.
- Familiarity with at least one statically-typed language.
- Familiarity with at least one scripting language.
- Passion for open-source contributions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Knowledge and understanding of Linux/Unix.
- Proficient with git and git workflows.
- Comfortable working on multiple projects, using different languages, and switching between them.
- Self-directed, ambitious, and eager to learn new skills.
