Associate Lecturer - MUS 114LEC Genres of Music (HE4)

Teach a course on Genres of Music, analyzing how genres emerge, evolve, and intersect with cultural, political, economic, and technological contexts, exploring a wide range of genres from classical to hip-hop, rock, electronic, folk, and world music.

Requirements

• Ph.D or Master's Degree in related discipline from a reputable university
• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level
• 5 years of relevant work experience is an added advantage
• Course design and implementation based on UB syllabus and textbook
• Assessment of students
• Must be available to teach daytime on weekdays
• Familiarity with Blackboard is a plus
