Engineer

KTUL Newschannel 8 is seeking an Engineering Technician to provide installation, troubleshooting, and support for broadcast and computer systems within the facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for broadcast/IT and experience with current media technologies. This role involves operational support, end-user assistance, project leadership, and adherence to Sinclair's policies.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a broadcast environment or related field
• Strong engineering, IT/networking, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Self-starter with quick learning ability, able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to pivot and manage changing priorities and deadlines
• A degree in a technical related field and/or equivalent experience
• Experience with Avid editing systems is a plus
