Broadcast Engineer

WRGB/WCWN is seeking a full-time Broadcast/IT Engineer to maintain broadcast equipment and assist with various IT-related tasks. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining hardware and software systems for television transmission and video automation. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills and a dedication to quality.

Requirements

• Maintain and repair cameras, video production switchers, audio equipment, video routers, automation/editing systems, video server systems, graphic systems, monitors and display systems, receivers, transmitters.
• PC hardware/software support of on-site installation, service, troubleshooting, and repairing of workstations.
• Provide support in the management of servers, network security, and network services.
• Assist with LAN and WAN related hardware and software maintenance.
• Assist with transmitter maintenance.
• Provide end-user support across all departments.
• Assist in fleet management.
• Assist in building maintenance and scheduling of maintenance.
• Perform physical inventory of equipment.
• Maintain digital telephone system
