Job Description
Performs safe and reliable transport of animal models and/or goods to clients via motorized vehicle while following any and all rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Agriculture, Department of Transportation, IACUC, etc.
Requirements
- Understand and follow all Bio Security procedures and protocols.
- Understand and follow all State and Federal Law’s regarding intrastate/ interstate transport rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Transportation.
- Participate in the proper handling of animals while being placed onto and/or removed from delivery vehicles.
- Understand and be able to follow SBR Delivery Disaster plan in the event of an emergency.
- Perform daily DOT vehicle inspections and report any deficiencies to Supervisor and participate with light maintenance duties and cleaning of Company vehicles.
- Assist in communicating and/or contacting clients with delivery information and/or basic knowledge questions and shall also report any questions or concerns relayed to them by clients to Supervisor.
