We are seeking a motivated and creative engineer to join our Atlanta office. The EMI group leverages core structural engineering principles, numerical simulation, and innovative technologies to understand structural behavior and enhance structural performance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant civil engineering experience or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Professional licensure required.
- MS or PhD with a concentration in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field from an ABET- accredited university.
- Specialized knowledge and experience with structural dynamics and earthquake engineering, especially related to applications in the nuclear industry.
- Expertise in structural analysis and finite element analysis of non-building structures.
- Familiarity with building design codes such as IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC through education or experience.
- Excellent personal qualities, especially ethics and honesty. Gets along well with others and provides enthusiastic help and support when appropriate.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
