We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and industrialize content for GILLIG's continuously evolving product line. The successful candidate will have influence over complex vehicles, systems, and component level designs and will work in a hybrid role, with some remote work options.
Requirements
- Bachelor or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the Engineering industry
- Automotive, commercial and/or heavy-duty vehicle design familiarity
- Fluency in CAD software such as NX, CREO, or SolidWorks
- Demonstrated working knowledge of GD&T and drawing creation
- Experience working with major component suppliers, engineering service suppliers, testing suppliers and product validation engineers
- Ability to perform moderate to complex finite element analysis (FEA) to predict structural performance under various loading conditions (static and dynamic)
