Senior Software Engineer & Project Lead, Biology

The Center for Computational Biology is seeking an experienced software engineer to lead the HumanBase project, a web-based platform supporting biomedical researchers. The successful candidate will lead technical direction, guide other software engineers, and collaborate with researchers to translate computational biology into robust software tools.

Requirements

• Serve as technical lead for HumanBase
• Lead and mentor a team of full stack software engineers
• Plan, develop, and optimize scalable genomics data processing pipelines
• Integrate machine learning methods into production pipelines
• Establish and enforce software engineering best practices
