Job Description
The Senior Staff Attorney will be a member of the cutting edge development team at Simon, supporting the transformation and expansion of retail properties into destinations with commercial office space, hotels, entertainment, lifestyle, and fitness centers. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in corporate transactional real estate, specifically commercial retail real-estate, and will have expertise in shopping center leasing, reciprocal easement and operating agreements, development agreements, and property dispositions.
Requirements
- JD Degree from an accredited law school
- Active license in the state of Indiana
- 10+ years of experience in corporate transactional real estate
- Expertise in shopping center leasing, reciprocal easement and operating agreements, development agreements, and property dispositions
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Leadership and management skills
- Ability to lead, initiate, organize, and coordinate complex projects and/or cases
