Nubank - Mobile Engineering Manager

Nubank is seeking a Mobile Engineering Manager to lead their App Core squad, a cross-impact engineering team responsible for building and maintaining the core mobile app infrastructure. This strategic leadership role focuses on optimizing performance, enabling product teams, and driving infrastructure modernization to scale their mobile platform. The manager will mentor a team, define a roadmap, ensure technical excellence, and collaborate with Product and Design to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing mobile engineering teams or senior-level technical leadership in mobile development.
• Strong technical background with Flutter and/or native mobile development (Android/iOS).
• Solid understanding of mobile software engineering principles, architectural patterns, and modularization strategies.
• Experience with performance optimization, dependency injection, and migration of core systems.
• Knowledge of mobile observability, monitoring, and debugging tools.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Track record of delivering results in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
