Job Description
We are seeking a Project Engineer - Electrical to lead a team of engineers and drafters for substation engineering design projects. The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge of Engineering/Procurement/Construction types of projects and be able to coordinate project flow and issues between all engineering disciplines and project management.
Requirements
- Practical knowledge and understanding of Engineering/Procurement/Construction types of projects
- Coordinating project flow and issues between all engineering disciplines and project management
- Leading a team of engineers and drafters for substation engineering design projects
- Developing single-line switching and protection diagrams
- Creating equipment specifications and supporting procurement of equipment
- Developing three-line and DC schematic diagrams
- Developing and maintaining a bill of material
- Conducting the required calculations and creating reports
- Design of underground MV and HV cabling systems
- Coordinate design with clients, vendors and subcontractors
