Job Description
Sigma Design is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join their facility in Bend, OR. This contract position is a key role in designing, developing, and implementing automation control systems, serving clients with tailored systems in a highly skilled team. Requirements
- Engineering degree (BS/MS in Electrical, Controls, Computer, or related) or equivalent technical training.
- 5+ years of experience in systems integration, controls engineering, or OT/IT roles.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Primarily Allen-Bradley RSLogix/Studio 5000).
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA development (Primarily Ignition, AVEVA, FactoryTalk View).
- Solid understanding of industrial networking protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms.
