RF Test Engineer

Sigma Design is seeking a Contract RF Test Engineer to join their facility in Seattle, WA. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and executing test systems and procedures to validate the performance, reliability, and safety of RF subsystems used in advanced hardware products.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering degree
• 3+ years of experience in RF testing, hardware validation, or related engineering roles
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment
• Experience developing automated tests using Python, LabVIEW, or similar programming tools
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills related to RF, electrical, and hardware systems
• Familiarity with wireless technologies such as LTE, GNSS, and WiFi
• Knowledge of RF compliance testing and regulatory considerations
• Exposure to antenna systems, PCB debugging, and hardware validation methodologies
• ITAR - Permanent resident of the United States (“U.S. person” as defined by ITAR)
• Background - Pass a post-offer background verification
