Senior Show Automation Technician

Sight & Sound is seeking a Senior Show Automation Technician to support and operate complex automation, rigging, media, network, communication, electrical, and special effects systems in a fast-paced live performance environment.

Requirements

• Monitor and maintain show-critical systems, including media servers, pyrotechnic devices, atmospheric and fog effects, and wired/wireless communication systems.
• Operate automation consoles during live performances, rehearsals, and technical runs.
• Execute advanced automation cues with precision and safety.
• Troubleshoot and recover systems during live shows to minimize downtime and ensure show continuity.
• Mentor junior technicians and collaborate across departments to ensure seamless integration and operation of all systems involved in show execution.
