Data Science Intern

ShyftLabs is seeking a passionate Data Science Intern to gain hands-on experience in data analytics and machine learning within a fast-paced data product company. The internship provides a structured learning environment, mentorship, and opportunities to contribute to product optimization. Interns will analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and collaborate with engineers on cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a curious, data-driven mindset.
• Solid understanding of statistics, hypothesis testing, and basic machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering).
• Hands-on experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and/or R.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
