Job Description
The Data Analyst II role is responsible for leveraging Shoprite's customer and transactional retail data assets to provide actionable trends and insights that enable business to make sound commercial decisions.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Operations Research, Statistics, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field
- +2 years' experience working as part of a progressive data team
- Experience applying analytical formula, modelling and trend forecasting of multiple data sources across systems
- Experience creating dashboards and reports using data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Excellent knowledge and application of SQL and relational databases
- Highly skilled in the MS Office Suite, with advanced expertise in Excel
