Job Description
Shive-Hattery is a prestigious Architecture and Engineering consulting firm seeking a Civil Traffic Engineer - Early Career to join their Transportation and Municipal practice in the West Des Moines, IA office. The role focuses on traffic engineering, signal design, corridor modeling, and infrastructure projects, offering hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned professionals. Graduates with a strong foundation in civil engineering, including a recent graduation, are welcomed.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited engineering school
- New graduate or early career Civil Engineer with 0-3 years of professional experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience a plus
- MicroStation 3D experience a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively, written and orally
- Demonstrates an ability to be service oriented
- Manages time and workload effectively
