Job Description
Shimmick is seeking a Lead Estimator to remotely/hybrid support project bid activity in the Dallas-Forth Worth area. This role involves reviewing, analyzing, and quoting project materials, preparing technical evaluations, and presenting recommendations to management. Shimmick is a dynamic infrastructure building company focused on sustainable transportation, water resources, and complex construction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience
- Experience in hard-bid contract work
- Understanding of construction means and methods
- Experience in water, wastewater, transit, and/or transportation projects
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
