Job Description
Shearer’s is seeking a Material Handler to coordinate packaging operations, ensuring the efficient flow of products within their manufacturing facility. The role involves organizing the packaging area, checking machine settings, managing labels, and handling daily tasks. The company is the leading snack company in North America and boasts over 5,000 associates.
Requirements
- Verify machine setup and color/size of labels
- Verify product boxing and labeling
- Count completed skids and label all partial skids
- Inform Machine Operators and Warehouse when order completion is near
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of breaks/lunches
- Shut down label machines and empty/cover labels
- Shuts down label machines and empties/covers at the end of the shift
