Job Description
Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company is seeking an Accounting Manager to supervise operational Accounting functions and prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting reports. The company offers a great team environment, work-life balance, and a rich benefit package.
Requirements
- Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports
- Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns
- Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations
- Supervise accounting function(s) related to fixed assets
- Advise management regarding issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and budget forecasts
- Monitor and control all facets of Agent compensation and oversee deposit processing
