Backend Software Engineer

Seesaw is looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join their International Growth team in Amman, Jordan. The role involves designing and building backend services and pipelines that power Arabic-enabled features, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting critical rostering or integration issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally with Python, AWS
• Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
• Direct experience designing, developing, and maintaining backend services at scale
• Familiarity with modern web technologies and service architectures
• Comfort working within complex distributed systems
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, self-documenting code
• Experience integrating with or consuming ML/AI models
