The Ophthalmic Technician I is critical in supporting the clinical team by providing high-quality patient care and assisting with diagnostic testing and procedures. This position requires excellent customer service, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to make independent decisions within the scope of their role.
Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field
- 2 to 3 years of experience as an ophthalmic or optometric technician
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between multiple locations as needed
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with the healthcare team
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
