Mechanical Project Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager – Mechanical to join a growing engineering team in Halifax. This is a pivotal role for an engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical building services and a track record of successfully delivering complex, impactful projects across healthcare, commercial, residential, and retail sectors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Project Management for mechanical engineering projects within the building services sector
• P.Eng. designation or ability to qualify within one year
• Senior C.E.T. candidates with comparable experience will also be considered
• Strong knowledge of relevant Codes and Standards (ASHRAE, CSA, NFPA), including provincial building codes
• Project experience within healthcare (including Infection Control CAN/CSA Z312 and CSA Z32), commercial, residential, or retail settings is highly valued
• Skilled in engineering design, equipment specification, and multidisciplinary project coordination
• Strong understanding of construction project procurement methods and contract administration
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven record of working with internal staff, external stakeholders, and contractors
• Strong attention to detail and ability to balance multiple priorities and projects
• LEED accreditation or experience implementing sustainable design practices is an asset
