Job Description
SeamonWhiteside is seeking a talented Project Engineer to join their growing Summerville, SC office. This role involves the development of civil design fundamentals, computer standards, and supporting master planning, engineering design, and research projects. The ideal candidate will contribute to the analysis of proposed and current projects, mentor engineers, and provide quality assurance in designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college/university
- 3 - 10 years’ experience, previous Civil Engineering with a Civil Engineering design firm or construction related experience highly desirable
- Taken Professional Engineer (P.E) Exam
- Engineer -in-Training (EIT) certification required
- Basic Knowledge and Understanding of Project Proposals (Scope of Work, Permitting Process, Project Budget, and Project Schedule)
- Ability to Coordinate with outside consultants
- Developimental Time Management and Organization Skills
