As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment used in the production of bubble wrap, mailers, and other packaging products. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on production machinery, electrical systems, and facility equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role, preferably in packaging or similar production environments
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment used in production
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to resolve maintenance issues
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
