Director, Strategy & Planning-Global Transaction Banking

As a Director, Strategy & Planning-Global Transaction Banking, you will contribute to the overall success of Global Transaction Banking (GTB) across Scotiabank’s markets, by defining and developing transformational opportunities in GTB while ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Consulting, or strategy experience within a Financial Services company
• Strong understanding of the domestic and global transaction banking and payments landscape, and market usage across segments
• Ability to clearly articulate and communicate complex business concepts associated with the transaction banking domain
• Experience in applying design thinking principles to define and solve business problems
• Comfort working in an agile, matrixed environment
• Hands on experience with payments modernization programs either domestically or globally (e.g., US, UK, Australia, Europe)
• General knowledge of global transaction banking trends and technologies
• Strong technical ability with PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Bilingual Preferred: Spanish and English
