Job Description
SciTec, a subsidiary of Firefly Aerospace, Inc., is seeking a Controller to lead accounting functions and ensure financial operations are precise and reliable. The Controller will lead the accounting team, manage the month-end close process, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and government contracting standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Significant experience in Government Contracting (GovCon) with deep knowledge of DCAA requirements and FAR/DFARS
- Expert-level knowledge of US GAAP
- Proven experience implementing and managing SOX 404 frameworks
