Job Description
This is a full-time, regularly scheduled field service engineering position with a focus on navigation systems, acoustics, and towed array systems within the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF). The role involves advising on systems, providing training to J-AOS personnel, and serving as a liaison between the Japanese government and the relevant entities. Requires US citizenship and a US government security clearance.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in computer science, electronics technology, or related field
- Experience with the SURTASS O&M Technician (3+ years) within the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of navigation system, acoustic data processing, and towed array systems.
- U.S. Citizenship
- US Government Security Clearance (Level II) - Active, requires completion within 12 months
- Fluent in Japanese
