(Senior) New Business Development Manager (m/w/d)*

We are looking for a Senior New Business Development Manager to shape the future of SCHOTT. The role is part of a global team, based within our corporate R&D in Mainz. This position is part of a development program for potentials aiming to advance to new roles within 3 to 5 years.

Requirements

• Excellent honors degree in business management/science/materials or business administration and engineering
• Strong business acumen paired with deep technological understanding
• Several years of international experience in business/new business development department of a Technology-focused company
• Comprehensive experience in the compilation, evaluation and interpretation of market analysis
• Experience in the monitoring of markets/competitors and identification of necessary action
• Knowledge of technological trends in markets relevant to SCHOTT and identification of innovative product ideas and business areas
• Proven track record of successful cooperation in international projects as a member of a cross-functional teams, ideally project management experience
• Fluent business English (written and spoken), knowledge of other languages and willingness to travel abroad
