Join our 'Relationships-First' team as a Middle School History Teacher at School in the Square, a bilingual, community-rooted model serving Washington Heights and Inwood. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or relevant content area
- Valid New York State Teaching Certification or willingness to enroll in a New York State Teaching Certification Program
- Experience in current teaching methods and educational pedagogy
- Knowledge of co-teaching strategies, ELL strategies, restorative practices, anti-racism education, culturally responsive and sustaining pedagogy, and trauma-informed practices
