The paperback production editor oversees about 45-50 books series and novels per year, managing book production for all editions of typeset titles and ebooks, and creating status reports.
Requirements
- Excellent copyediting and proofreading skills
- Strong knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and juggling multiple projects
- Strong computer skills - MAC preferred -- including facility with advanced functions of Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally with multiple project stakeholders
