Buyer

Schaeffler is seeking a Buyer to support the development of comprehensive market analyses and drive the implementation of category strategies. The successful candidate will define and align profitable purchasing strategies across divisions and functions, and lead price and condition negotiations within the framework of Strategic Market Agreements (SMA).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence suppliers to achieve favorable terms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in supplier management and contract negotiation.
• Familiarity with procurement software and systems (e.g., ERP, eSourcing platforms).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.
