Job Description
Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data, schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs.
Requirements
- Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager
- Requires a two-year allied health degree and successful completion of an approved one-year program in Ultrasound Technology
- 2+ years of experience in the field with exams including but not limited to US ABD, US OBGYN, US ARTERIAL & VASCULAR, US PYLORUS
- Requires registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
